Speakers:
Dr. Richard Perez, Research Professor, University at Albany’s Atmospheric Sciences Research Center. He directs applied research and teaches in the fields of solar radiation, solar energy applications and daylighting. Dr. Perez has produced over 200 journal articles, conference papers and technical reports. He hold two US patents on methods of load management using photovoltaics. Dr. Perez has received several awards including the Charles Greeley Abbot Award from the American Solar Energy Society.
Dr. Pradeep Haldar, Professor of Nanoengineering and Vice President of Clean Energy Programs, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, University of Albany. Dr. Haldar is also the Director of the Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC) and Executive Director of iClean, the Clean Energy Incubator at E2TAC. Dr. Haldar focuses his research on advanced photovoltaics, advanced fuel cells, next generation superconductors and advanced power electronics.
Finance Roundtable Discussion: Rick Lewandowski, Direct Global Power, and Wyldon King Fishman, NYSES, will discuss funding a successful solar project.
