June 13, 11 am - 4:30 pm

On Monday, June 13, the New York Solar Energy Society will meet at the cafeteria off the underground concourse near the main security entrance to the Legislative Office Building and the Capitol at 11 am for a briefing with our Policy Director, Tom Thompson.

Please join us and other like minded solar groups. We will help you with scheduled visits with your elected representatives.

To witness our third largest state in population slip from #3 in the nation for installed solar to somewhere below #10 is the issue. Where will we be next year? The installers are hurting as we saw in Norwich this past Saturday. The older population is not interested and the younger workforce is desperately looking for the dream green job and doing the right thing by taking the courses.
