Mcgowan is an artist, songwriter and sustainability advocate. His passion for sustainability and co-op housing led him to co-found Brooklyn Power, a social network company dedicated to renewable energy.
He loves to get his hands dirty, so his idea of playing hooky from work is to show up at a job site and pitch in with a solar crew.

Christian Roselund runs the PV Magazine USA project. He has covered solar, energy storage and the global transition to renewable energy for eight years for various outlets, including writing articles for Guardian, IEEE Spectrum and German Energy Transition. His areas of focus include state-level and federal renewable energy policies and the challenges of grid integration of large amounts of wind and solar.
